The Covid-19 lockdown, such as it is depending on where you live, is still with us and I’m having to make choices that tear at me. I recently ordered some cotton masks for going out and about in public, which irks me. On the one hand, it’s following the recommendations by the CDC, which is the responsible thing to do and I like doing the responsible thing. On the other hand, I believe it’s quarantine theater in the same way the TSA rituals in the airport are: of limited effectiveness and really meant to make people feel safer than anything else. And until the masks come in, I’m still going out to the grocery store without a mask, which puts me in the minority and ironically makes me feel a little like an outlaw.
That’s right, I’m a bad boy now. However there is a serious lack of attractive females with daddy issues throwing themselves at my feet so it’s not what Hollywood led me to believe.
Badlands Cursed is launching this month, and I’m really excited to share it with all of you. It was a mighty effort to get Jasmine’s second story finished and ready for the world but I’m hoping the wait has been worth it. I’ll be posting excerpts and links later this month, but because you all are already down with the good stuff, here’s an exclusive excerpt:
